A lot of controversy surrounds This Is It and for good reason. Is it merely an exploitation of Michael Jackson? Probably. But is it a film that was worth being made? Yes. Maybe it shouldn’t have been rushed out in the wake of his death, but it is an interesting look at what could have been. While the film does offer great insight into what he and director Kenny Ortega were putting together, it’s ultimately a documentary about a show that will, sadly, never be produced. More
